I am planning to give my Jazz bass a push/pull series/parallel pot and I am not 100% certain on how to wire it all up. I am wanting to use the tone pot since my volume pots are linear taper. I am not sure where the cap fits in all of this. I am hoping somebody can give me a total idiots wiring guide for this, the more simple the better.

Questions about series/parallel wiring on a Jazz Bass ...I recently wired up my Squier Classic Vibe 70's Jazz bass with a series/parallel push pull pot. I followed the diagram on Seymour Duncan's website (except I "flipped" some of the wiring so series would be when the pot was down and parallel when the pot was up). I now have a slight hum when in series and a louder hum when in parallel.
